Bi Annual Student Art Show
The Pima County School Superintendent’s Office announces the launch of the Bi Annual Student Art Show. This art show will showcase students artwork through the exploration of various mediums and themes. The show will be held twice a year and will feature awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place as well as Honorable Mention, Superintendent’s Choice, and Student’s Choice.
Exploring the Beauty of Pima County through Architecture
For its Spring 2017 launch, the Pima County School Superintendent, Dustin Williams, has opted to celebrate the region his Office serves with his passion for architecture. He is calling upon current high school student artists to explore the architecture of Pima County through the lens of a camera.
Eligibility: This contest is open to all current high school students enrolled within Pima County.
The submitted photo must be the sole possession of the student submitting the photo. Students may submit one (1) photo to go forward with judging. The photo must be submitted in digital format by email and not exceed 10 MB. 300dpi (high resolution) photos are preferred. No hard copy submissions will be accepted. All photos must be in.jpg or .pdf. The photograph must not contain objectionable or inappropriate content, to the sole discretion of our staff and contest judges.
Instructions: Complete entry form and upload artwork. Submitted photos must be the student’s original work and focus on any architecture existing in Pima County. Selected students will be notified no later than March 5, 2017 and original artwork will be requested for the Art Show.
Deadline: 5 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2017
Art Show reception will be held on the afternoon of March 15, 2017. Details to follow.
