Process update on the appointing of the Altar Valley Board Member

PIMA COUNTY SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT APPOINTS MARTIN HUDECEK TO ALTAR VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT GOVERNING BOARD

Tucson, AZ (July 19, 2017) – The Pima County School Superintendent’s Office is delighted to announce that Martin Hudecek has been selected to fill the Altar Valley Governing Board. Mr. Hudecek will replace lomg time board member, Sharon Nicholas, who passed earlier this year. State law requires that the Pima County School Superintendent, Dustin Williams, fill any vacancy on a school governing board.


Martin Hudeck is a local businessman with six children who attend schools in the Altar Valley School District. Hudeck, himself attended schools in the district. He is community involved and is looking forward to serving his community.

Upon taking his oath, Mr. Hudecek will serve through December 31, 2018.
