DaNel Hogan receives Education Leadership Award

The Office of the Pima County School Superintendent is pleased to announce the achievement of DaNel Hogan. Hogan was honored today at the annual C3E Women in Clean Energy Symposium in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This Symposium is a collaborated effort between the MIT Energy Initiative (MITEI) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) which honored nine remarkable women celebrating their leadership in specific areas.

“DOE’s C3E Initiative, in strong partnership with MIT and other universities, brings together women at all stages of their careers,” said Melanie Kenderdine, Director of the Office of Energy Policy and Systems Analysis and Energy Counselor to the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Energy. By supporting and highlighting the achievements of women at mid-career, we are inspiring and investing in women at the earliest stages of their clean energy careers at the same time we are developing senior leaders for the future.”

DaNel Hogan was selected as this year’s recipient of the Education Leadership award. She is the Director of The STEMAZing Project in the Office of the Pima County School Superintendent.
