Several school districts have either no candidates or uncontested positions. Therefore, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes §15-424.D these uncontested elections may be canceled by the Pima County Board of Supervisors (with a cost savings for the school district). The candidates will be appointed by the Pima County Board of Supervisors and will be fully vested with the powers and duties of the office as if elected.
