Learning Collaborative-Level II
Participants who completed the Systems Thinking in Schools – Level I training are encouraged to join the Systems Thinking Collaborative. The collaborative is an informal gathering of educators interested in applying systems thinking to their work. The collaborative meetings will be focused on refining and reviewing systems thinking concepts and tools as an ongoing follow-up to the summer Level I trainings.
Introduction to Computer Modeling/Simulation
This 15-hour workshop will provide an introduction to dynamic computer modeling using STELLA software. Participants will: - create, run, and analyze simple models and pre-made simulations. - identify how creation of computer models would enhance understanding of curriculum standards.
