Pima County School District Governing Board Election Information

The Pima County School Superintendent is responsible for all governing board elections and appointments for the 17 school districts here in Pima County. (A.R.S. § 15-302 and A.R.S. § 15-421 )

Our goal is to make the governing board election process easy for all potential candidates. This office provides the following services for those interested in running for the position of school district governing board member:

* Provides election information to candidates, media and school districts
* Provides campaign packets to prospective candidates
* Source of petitions and related campaign documents
* Receives all school district governing board candidate filings
* Provides Certificates of Election
* Custodian of all related election records
